International event director, logistics coordinator, and communications leader — 6+ years delivering conferences, diplomatic forums, and large-scale experiences across Istanbul.
Al Sharq is one of the Arab world’s most prominent international youth forums. As Activation Spaces Lead, I owned the full operational lifecycle of the conference’s interactive zones — from spatial concept through on-the-ground delivery — for an event that hosted 3,000 registered participants and over 2,000 additional visitors.

As Director General for two consecutive ITUMUN editions, I held the highest organisational responsibility — overseeing every function of the conference from committee design and sponsorship through budget management and day-of operations.
Initially engaged as Academic Advisor, I was called upon last-minute to step in as Deputy Director General to address critical operational and budgetary failures threatening delivery. Venue: a four-star Istanbul hotel hosting ~1,000 attendees.
As Head of Communications and Events, I lead all external media and communications for this international youth and entrepreneurs association — while planning and delivering events that connect and grow the community.
Each Ramadan I organise the ITU annual iftar — a community event bringing together 300+ students and staff for food, drinks, and a welcome programme. Proof that great events come down to logistics and coordinated teams, not budget.
